Where is Lamb Island?

- Redland Bay, Queensland, Australia

Situated in the South East region of Australia, it is the second smallest of the Southern Moreton Bay Islands, only 45 minutes drive from Brisbane CBD. 

Measuring 2 kilometres by 1 kilometre, it's an easy walk around Lamb Island, is easily navigable, has a general store, recreation club and a swimming enclosure for cooling off in the bay waters. 

Access to Lamb Island is by ferry from Redland Bay.

Weather & Climate

Lamb Island has a pleasent all year round climate with temperatures ranging from 10 degree winter mornings to comfortably warm 30 degree summer days. We have plenty of sunshine to go around and an always refreshing sea breeze coming off the South Pacific Ocean. We cannot recommend a best particular time for your visit. It depends whether you're interested in summer or winter activities. What we can guarantee is that you will feel comfortable in our island paradise at any time of the year.
